This will be the last Sunday you may order Poinsettias to decorate the altar for Christmas. Cost is $10.50-please see Marlynne Nishimura. You are welcome to bring the poinsettias home after Christmas. 


Our church's charge conference is scheduled for Dec. 15. The bishop is asking us to take pictures of our neighborhoods, following up on the theme for annual conference, Who is My Neighbor? Please plan to attend this important state-of-the-church meeting. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Zaki L. Zaki, will deliver the message that day during worship.

On December 19, our former accompanist, David Camarena will give a concert of solo piano and piano/cello works with Hellen Weberpal. The concert will start at 6:30pm



We will celebrate the Advent Season with a Christmas luncheon on Dec. 15th, pot-luck style. Christmas candlelight and Carols Sunday, Dec. 22 10:30am, and Christmas Eve service Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 3:30pm. Please join us in this joyous season waiting.


Chili Fest will be held on Sat. Jan. 25 from 3-6pm. See Chris Johnson for details.


On Jan. 26 2:00pm, Hikaru Tamaki and Yoko Reikano Kimura will perform a New Year's concert here. Their newly named duo, YUMENO, will give a new program of fusion of traditional Japanese and Western classical music.

Bring Your Dog to Church

Worship is outside and begins at 10:30am.
The dog blessing will happen early in the service.
ALL PETS ARE WELCOME
ALL are welcome to stay for refreshments
in the gym.
 
We are very grateful to Urban Pooch
for joining us and providing dog treats.
 
We will hold a Reading Festival
Sun. Sept. 22 1-2pm and Mon. Sept. 23
with a light supper served 5:30pm
and reading from 6-7pm.
This event is free for children 3-11yrs, accompanied
by an adult. We will celebrate reading
by reading some children's classic books
and make bookmarks.
 
Our annual Rummage Sale will be held Fri. Oct.4
$3 admission 6-8pm, continuing on
Sat. Oct. 5, 9a-3pm, free admission.
 
Save the date! Pancake Breakfast will be held
Sat. Nov. 2 9a-1pm. More details will follow
