Got an old laptop? RFUMC is getting wired up and ready to live stream from the sanctuary! When we return to worship in our building we will continue live streaming for those who need or want to continue to shelter in place. And so we have to get up-to-speed with our technology. Instead of the church buying a new computer, do you have a new-ish one lying around you'd like to donate? Maybe you've been thinking of getting a new one anyway. Helping with worship online and in person? When we begin live streaming from the sanctuary and when we start to meet in person we will need folks to volunteer to welcome new people. Are you interested in taking a lead in the chat box on Zoom? Would you be willing to help usgreet new people once we begin worshipping in person? If so, let us know by emailing us, "I want to help with the chat!" or "Sign me up to greet!"
Updating the directory? All of the online work, establishing a weekly newsletter, and staying in contact when we are apart made us realize we need to update our directory. Are you new to the church? Or have you changed your contact information in the last year? Five years? Let us know so we can list your correct information.
What Phase of Re-Opening are we in?
We continue to move through the phases of re-opening outlined in our guidelines from our Re-Opening Discussion Team. We are currently in Phase Two and preparing, based on city guidelines, to move into the next phase. And we prepare for Pastor Mori to begin leading us in worship in July.
