Ravenswood Fellowship United Methodist Church The Monthly Newsletter    Message from Pastor Mori Dear RFUMC Family  As we are already halfway through this Lenten journey, I want to encourage you to keep pressing on. This season of reflection and repentance is an opportunity for us to grow closer to God and to one another. Let us continue to take time to pray and seek God's guidance in our lives. Also continue to fast, giving up something that is meaningful to us as a symbol of our sacrifice and devotion to God. And let us give generously to those in need, showing compassion and kindness to those less fortunate than ourselves. And let us show love and compassion to our family, friends, and neighbors, reflecting the love of Christ in our interactions with others. Remember that this season is not just about what we give up, but about the transformation that occurs within us as we draw closer to God !!  May this season be a time of renewal and transformation, as we continue to journey towards the cross and the empty tomb. The service will be a time of prayer, contemplation, and community. We hope you will be able to attend and share in the spirit of this special occasion with us!                          We would like to invite you to join us for Good Friday worship on April 07 at Ravenswood Fellowship UMC. We will be reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and his journey to the cross. The service will start at 7:00 PM, Ravenswood Fellowship UMC is located at 4511 N Hermitage Ave Chicago.
