Ravenswood Fellowship United Methodist Church The Weekly Newsletter    Message from Pastor Mori Dear RFUMC Family  We warmly invite you to join us on Sunday, April 2nd at 10:30 AM  for a meaningful Palm Sunday worship experience! This special day marks the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus' triumphant entrance into Jerusalem, where he was greeted with palm branches and enthusiastic cheers. Palm Sunday is a special day in the Christian faith, as it symbolizes Jesus' arrival as the true King and Messiah, while also foreshadowing his ultimate sacrifice for our salvation. One of the most memorable parts of the service is the procession of palms. We invite everyone—young and not-so-young—to take a palm branch and wave it with joy as a symbol of our unity and praise for Jesus. We're particularly excited for the kids to participate and learn more about the meaning of Palm Sunday. After we've concluded the service, I encourage you to carry the joy and blessings of the day into your everyday life. Share the love and warmth of our church family with those you meet and let the Palm Sunday experience inspire spiritual growth in the days to come. This event is aimed at preparing a safe and clean environment for our upcoming Egg Hunt activities, and we would be thrilled to have your help! During this session, we will focus on simple gardening tasks such as tidying up the area, clearing pathways, and ensuring the space is welcoming and hazard-free for our Egg Hunt participants. We hope to see you on April 1st at 2:15 PM for a rewarding and enjoyable gardening experience. This is a fun-filled event for the whole family, and we welcome everyone from our community to participate.
