Holiday Season YOGA Class Schedule Dear Friends, The holiday season is upon us, and with it attendant scheduling changes. Vitality Yoga classes are canceled for Christmas and New Year's Day at Ravenswood Fellowship, as is Chair Yoga on Monday, December 27. Fitness Club classes are a mixed bag, with subs covering 12/23 and 12/28/21; all other Fitness Club classes will proceed as usual, except for 12/25. The regular schedule will resume with a super-fun Chair Yoga class on Monday, January 3, 2022 ! Then we slide into a smooth, chill, January groove ~ a good time for slow, meditative yoga. My specialty! In the meantime, let's party! The storm system that struck on Friday evening into Saturday morning — including one tornado that caused destruction across some 240 miles — is blamed for nearly 90 deaths. A tornado collapsed the roof and walls of an Amazon warehouse in Edwardsville, Ill., killing six people. The storm also caused damage to homes, silos and an FS Plant in several downstate towns. Illinois Great Rivers Disaster Response leaders are assessing needs at this time. Twisters sheared roofs and shattered windows at some United Methodist churches and parsonages, as well as badly damaging congregation members' homes and local businesses in Kentucky and Tennessee. Please know Bishop Hopkins would never personally request such donations or any requests to "handle discreetly." One red flag is the sender's email. Bishop Hopkins would not send official emails using an obscure @gmail account. Disregard these phishing emails. We have made a few changes to the church Leadership List as it was in 2020.
