Message from Pastor Mori Dear RFUM family As I take in the breathtaking sight of blooming flowers in the Japanese Garden, I can't help but feel the energizing presence of Spring !! I just had to reach out to you today and emphasize the connection between worship, relationships, and the super important role of hospitality in our faith community. Worship is like the beating heart of our spiritual life as United Methodists. It's this sacred time when we all come together to shower our love, gratitude, and praise on our incredible Creator. Through worship, we get to experience God's presence and feel inspired to take our relationship with God to a whole new level. And the hospitality is totally central to both worship and relationships. It goes way beyond just being friendly—it's all about sharing love, making everyone feel included, and creating spaces where people can encounter God's amazing love and find their own place to belong. When we show hospitality, we're not just talking the talk; we're walking the walk of Christ's love and actively building God's Kingdom right here on earth. So, mark your calendars for Saturday, May 06 because I want to invite you to join us for the Northside Co-op Leadership Training! This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about worship, build relationships, and explore the essence of hospitality. We are thrilled to offer you an opportunity to connect with the leaders of the Northside Co-op, learn from their experiences, and become an integral part of our community. Lunch will be provided, so all that is needed is your enthusiasm! The Leadership Training is open to everyone. Please register using the following link (Click here). May the Holy Spirit guide and empower us as we engage in worship, foster relationships, and practice hospitality. Let us be a community that embodies the core beliefs and values of the United Methodist Church, reflecting the reconciling and transformative power of Christ to the world !! Blessings MORI |
